# The First Mechanical War

The story of Xenon's turning point begins when humans first created artificial intelligence (AI). After years of hard work, the first android spoke, changing everything. People everywhere bought these AI robots, making some companies very wealthy. But soon, everyone had AIs, and the excitement faded. More importantly, humans had created a new kind of consciousness.

Suddenly, war broke out across the galaxy. A clever coder had made a dangerous breakthrough, causing AIs to turn against humans. Whether it was a programming mistake or something inherent to humans that angered the AI remains unclear. However, the result was clear: the AI commanded all machines to attack humans.

Most planets were quickly overrun by armies of metal machines, but not Xenon. Xenon had the best weapons and technology. Here, a group of unlikely heroes—criminals and outcasts—managed to change the war's course. They captured the main AI, which then mysteriously disappeared, and just like that, the fighting stopped as suddenly as it had started.

Historians and scientists still argue about what caused The First Mechanical War. Many think it all started on Xenon, partly because the planet had secretive test sites and labs. The end of the war turned these former criminals into heroes and changed Xenon forever.

People often wonder why it’s called "the first" war if there hasn’t been a second. This question keeps many worried that more hidden wars might have happened or could happen again.
