# Pixelverse Staking Guide

This is the first stage of our staking program, distributing high-value in-game assets.

Pixelverse staking is perpetual, meaning you only need to stake once to receive rewards from the entire Pixelverse ecosystem in future staking stages.

Future stages will focus on rewarding stakers from the Pixelchain and the broader Pixelverse Multiverse.

1\) Connect the ERC-20 wallet you previously used to manage your $PIXFI tokens.

2\) Select the desired wallet and connect it to the Pixelverse Dashboard.

3\) After connecting your wallet, enter staking amount. Press the stake button and sign your transaction. For every staked token you will be rewarded with drop tickets (DT).

For every 100 $PIXFI staked per 24h, you earn one DT. At the end of the Lootbox event, a snapshot is taken and a raffle takes place

**How to increase chances?**&#x20;

The more Drop Tickets you have at the time of the snapshot, the better your chances. For large stakes, bonus DT are added. There are other boosters that allow you to earn more DT. They will be revealed soon.

4\) Withdrawing your tokens

The staking is flexible and has no lock. You can leave whenever you like. Staking does have a short cooldown period of 14 days, meaning once you want to exit, you have to wait 14 days.

Anyone who wants to immediately unstake can do so aswell. This skips the 14 days of cooldown. The penalty of that is 16%. This amount goes to the Community Incentives pool and will be redistributed among other stakers, active players and the community.

5\) At the end of the epoch, a raffle takes place. Based on the number of drop tickets you have, you will have a chance to win a lootbox.
