# Locations

In the beginning, there was Pixelverse, and at its center lies Xenon, a planet once known as an infamous prison. Dangerous criminals, dissidents, and rebels were held in Xenon, deemed impossible to escape due to its state-of-the-art security and weaponry systems. Those who made it to Xenon were never seen again.

When artificial intelligence rebelled against its creators and a war broke out, threatening humanity, it was the formidable walls of Xenon that saved the galaxy. The planet at the edge of the galaxy became the last bastion of hope, holding humanity's last warriors. During the war, Xenon developed advanced robots and weapons to fight against the AI threat, with former prisoners becoming the fiercest defenders.

This war changed everything, turning yesteryear's prisoners into today’s heroes and transforming Xenon from an infamous planet to a beacon of hope and a symbol of humanity’s triumph. Now, Xenon is a place of pride and treasure, though it still has its share of notorious characters.

While Xenon has been greatly transformed and is often featured in media headlines, the inside remains different. The spirit of the old Xenon reigns supreme with corrupt corporations, poverty neighboring the wealthy, and metropolitan towers lining the streets. Anarchy is prevalent, with thieves, merchants, robbers, charlatans, polished corporate managers, and some lucky civilians living side by side until the opening of the first Arena.
